At Be Challenged, we spend much of our working hours helping other teams celebrate, let their hair down, and have fun with their colleagues.
However, we also practice what we preach, and every year hold the Be Challenged Gala Dinner and Awards to reflect upon and celebrate the previous year.
The event usually forms part of our annual conference in January; however, the 2022 conference was held virtually so it was delayed until the team could come together on 25 March.
And what a night it was at Kingsley’s Woolloomooloo as we welcomed new team members, celebrated long-serving ones, and crowned 2021’s Most Valuable Buzzer.
We were thrilled to celebrate the amazing Vanessa Mullen (Senior Event Manager) who has been with Be Challenged for an incredible five-years, along with Norm Pounder (Senior Facilitator) and Sue Potts (Accounts Officer) who have been with for us for three years. How time flies!
New full-time team members were also welcomed in style, with Nicky Rasmin (Facilitator – QLD), Rob Acari (Facilitator – VIC) and Jamie Morris (Sales and Marketing Coordinator – VIC) joining us in 2022.
The Coveted Most Valuable Buzzer
The Most Valuable Buzzer accolade is awarded to the team member who is the best representation of the Be Challenged BUZZ. They are hard-working, dedicated, passionate and have fun along the way.
They strive to deliver the best they can for their clients, and their colleagues, leaving no stone unturned in their quest for excellence and success, always with TEAM in mind.
The Most Valuable Buzzer is voted for every month by everyone on Be Challenged’s full-time team. It is based on:
- Who has best captured the essence of Be Challenged throughout the month?
- Who has best represented our values: Real, Innovative, Passionate, and Playful
- Who is striving to be the best version of themselves, which, in return provides the team with success?
- Who has gone above and beyond?
Annually, the monthly winners are tallied, with the most awarded team member being crowned The Most Valuable Buzzer! For 2021 it was awarded to the one and only, Ben Evans.
