About the program
Each team starts with a kit of unmarked parts, which they need to earn through a series of challenging team activities. They then assemble a prosthetic hand from 30 pieces of plastic and metal. They create something that will literally change the life of a landmine victim, halfway around the world. Each participant sets about putting together the prosthetic hand with their team, faced with the restriction of only being able to use one hand, gaining a small understanding of how landmine victims live. In just a couple of hours, this program gives each and every participant a new perspective on the challenges they face in work and life in general and a new attitude to handle them. This team event finishes with each participant going home knowing that they have made the world a better place.
