About The Program
Teams will become mountaineering companies, delegate roles, and navigate Everest through strategy and teamwork.
As teams are transformed into mountaineering companies who aim to to guide clients to the summit of Everest. Each team member specialises in a different aspect of climbing, like weather, acclimatisation, or logistics. The game is played via an iPad app, where teams make strategic decisions to earn points for successfully guiding clients up and down the mountain. However, poor decisions or misinterpretation of information, such as weather conditions, can lead to point deductions. Physical challenges include participants having to pack sleeping bags and tents under timed conditions, create summit flags, and put on mountaineering gear blindfolded. These physical challenges are all incorporated throughout digital game play, and will allow participants to earn advantages for their team.

As the scenario requires strategic planning, role specialisation, and effective communication, participants learn the importance of clear decision-making under pressure, and how to balance risk verses reward scenarios during strategic play. This experience offers insights into real-world business scenarios, making the program an excellent tool for understanding organisational objectives in a fun environment.
