Simon Piltz ‘Piltzy’

team

Simon joined Be Challenged back in 2015 as the first QLD Account Manager, setting up the QLD office with the aim to grow and develop Be Challenged’s presence in the Sunshine State. Simon is now Account Director (QLD) and has grown the office from a staff of 1 to 4 full-time staff members, with over a dozen dedicated facilitators delivering world class team building programs and events.

Simon had an extensive and successful sporting upbringing which taught him the value of team work from an early age. Simon further explored his sporting passion with an Advanced Diploma in Sports Management while also running his own Personal Training business. From this experience Simon began to see the need and clear benefits of hands-on, interactive and stimulating team programs in the workplace. After 4 years of managing a team building company Simon was hooked and was passionate about getting this important team engagement message out to corporate Australia. To do this he wanted to be working with the leading team building company in Australia, a company with a global network and a clear vision of growth- enter Be Challenged.

Since Simon has joined the Be Challenged team he has developed extremely strong, long-term relationships with not only clients but also venues and suppliers all over QLD. He loves a chat (sometimes with a beer) and enjoys nothing better than listening to his clients to learn what they are currently doing in the workplace, finding out if their team is functioning effectively and understanding what barriers exist to prevent full team cohesion and success. Simon wants to take the team development of his clients to the next level-ensuring effective, fun and cohesive workplaces all over Australia

Like most of the Be Challenged team Simon loves the outdoors, off-duty you will most likely find him on the beach in his boardies with his gorgeous little family or sneaking in a quick session at the gym
